What is Wetspinning?<\/h2>\n

This process is used for polymers that need to be dissolved in a solvent to be spun. The spinneret is submerged in a chemical bath that causes the fiber to precipitate, and then solidify, as it emerges.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The process gets its name from this “wet” bath.
